Welcome to Epsom Student Rooms providing student accommodation in Epsom, Surrey. We manage a portfolio of houses, flats and studios in central Epsom. We are a family-run business and not a commercial enterprise or Estate Agent. Our accommodation is primarily for students and we cater for students attending the University for Creative Arts, NESCOT and Laine Theatre Arts.
For over 12 years we have been providing well-maintained, affordable accommodation to our students, many of whom have stayed with us for several years. We aim to create a rapport with our tenants, and have a good understanding of their needs and requirements.
We do our best to look after our students in return for them looking after our properties. As members of the National Residential Landlords Association we are constantly seeking for ways to improve our service and respond quickly to any issues that arise.
All of our rooms are furnished with a bed and mattress, desk, chair and wardrobe. The rooms are all lockable and have smoke alarms and CO2 detectors for your safety.
Each property has a well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, iron, ironing board and hoover. They all have a plumbing and heating contract in case of any emergencies and a six week check is carried out to maintain the property to the required standard.
We issue tenants with an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) and provide an Inventory on the day that they move in. We take a deposit and ask for a Rent Guarantor Form to be signed by a parent/guardian. The deposits are protected with a deposit protection scheme, Mydeposits, and a certificate is issued to the tenant.
All of our properties are within walking distance of Epsom town centre and most are on a bus route and close to Epsom train station.
Our rooms are ready to move into from the end of August and we start doing viewings from the end of November.
In order to reserve one of the rooms, we take a 5 week deposit. The rooms are either available individually or can be taken by a group of friends.
